Why Bring Your Own Realtor to a New Build

The sales agent you meet at a new-home community works for the builder, and their job is to represent the builder's interests, including its prices, contract and timeline. That is a very different role from a Realtor who represents you as the buyer.

These offers change often, usually have conditions, and may require using the builder's preferred lender, so ask for the details in writing and compare them with the price and terms you could get elsewhere.
