Attendance boundaries and enrollment

Anasazi is a neighborhood school, so students who live inside its attendance boundary register through SUSD's Regular Enrollment. Families from outside the boundary can apply through Open Enrollment, which depends on space by grade and program. For the 2027-28 school year, SUSD opened Regular and Open Enrollment on November 2, 2026 at 8 a.m. Regular Enrollment asks for proof of residency, a birth certificate and immunization records. For kindergarten, a child must turn 5 before September 1.

Boundaries are changing in this part of Scottsdale. In October 2026 the SUSD governing board voted to close Laguna Elementary and Copper Ridge, and news reports say Laguna's students will be split among Redfield, Anasazi and Cochise. That means some streets may be reassigned to Anasazi. The exact streets and start date were not posted in a source I could verify, so check the district's materials.
