Boulder Creek Elementary is a K-6 public school in the Paradise Valley Unified School District, at 22801 N. 22nd Street in north Phoenix (ZIP 85024). It sits near the foothills, with Cave Creek Road and Loop 101 nearby, and its students go on to Mountain Trail Middle School and Pinnacle High School.
I'm Terry Day with DeLex Realty. Many buyers start a north Phoenix search with a school name, and Boulder Creek comes up often. Below is what the school and district publish, how enrollment works and how to confirm which school serves a home before you buy. The homes shown on this page are listings where Boulder Creek Elementary appears as the elementary school in the MLS data.

The school is on N. 22nd Street in north Phoenix. The school describes its setting as the base of the foothills, separated from nearby areas by Cave Creek Road and the Loop 101 freeway. Its bus routes run along streets such as E. Rose Garden Lane, N. 22nd Street, N. Desert Peak Parkway, N. Cave Creek Dam Road, N. 16th Street and N. 20th Street. The school lists walk zones of half a mile for kindergarten and one mile for grades 1 through 6.
Boulder Creek opened in 1996, and its motto is "Cultivating World-Class Thinkers." Here is how the school describes its programs, in my own words:
Before and after school care is run by PVSchools Community Education, which offers a supervised club program and tuition-based enrichment classes; call Community Education at 602-449-2200 for details. The district also runs Pre-K programs at various elementary schools, so ask which campus offers them. Families can get involved through the Boulder Creek PTO, School Council and the district's United Parent Council. The office is open 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
PVSchools has two paths. Traditional enrollment is for families who live inside the school's boundary: you complete the district forms and register online through Infinite Campus. Open enrollment is for families who live outside the school's boundary or outside the district: you apply online, and seats depend on space. The district gives priority to groups such as current PVSchools students, employees' children and siblings, uses a waitlist when a school is full and holds a lottery when more priority students apply than there are openings. Families who open enroll provide their own transportation. The district posts kindergarten registration dates and age rules each year, so check them before you plan a move.
To see which schools serve an address, use the "Locate a School" map on the PVSchools enrollment page. The district redrew boundaries for the 2024-25 school year after closing three schools, so older information may be out of date. A home near Boulder Creek is not guaranteed to be assigned to it, and boundaries can change, so always confirm the school for a specific address with the district before you buy.
Boulder Creek serves part of north Phoenix near Cave Creek Road and Loop 101. To compare nearby areas and schools, see my Phoenix city guide, my Desert Ridge homes page, and my pages for Mountain Trail Middle School, Pinnacle High School and Eagle Ridge Elementary. Check the district map for any specific street before you rely on it.
The listings on this page come from the MLS, where the listing agent entered Boulder Creek Elementary as the elementary school. That data is helpful but not always complete or current, so I double-check the assignment with the district for any home you like.
