Preschool and care

PVSchools runs its Early Childhood Academy at Eagle Ridge: a full-day (8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), tuition-free preschool for children who are 4 by August 31. The school's before and after school page lists the City of Phoenix's Phoenix Afterschool Center (PAC) program for ages 6 to 13 and the district's tuition-based Community Education classes (602-449-2200). Families and school council

Eagle Ridge has a School Council that makes decisions by consensus on curriculum, safety and achievement; the school lists Wednesday morning meetings at 7:45 a.m. Families can also take part in the district-wide United Parent Council.

Attendance boundaries and enrollment

PVSchools uses two paths. Traditional enrollment is for families who live inside the Eagle Ridge boundary. Open enrollment is for families outside the boundary or outside the district. For open enrollment, the district gives priority to current PVSchools students, children of employees, siblings and resident students, among others. When a school is full, applicants go on a waitlist, and a lottery is used if more priority applicants apply than there are seats. The district does not provide transportation for open-enrolled students.

The district notes that boundaries were updated for the 2024-25 school year after school closures, so older listing information may be out of date.
