Robson Ranch Golf Course Homes

Robson Ranch golf course homes sit along the Robson Ranch Arizona Golf Club, an 18-hole, par 72 course in this 55+ community in Eloy. You can buy a resale on the course or a new Robson home, and golf privileges are a separate question from the view off the patio.

About the See all homes button: it shows every active Robson Ranch listing, not only golf course lots, because the search cannot filter by golf lot here. The listing details say whether a home backs to the course.

I am Terry Day, REALTOR with DeLex Realty. When a buyer calls about a fairway home at Robson Ranch, I split the conversation in two right away: what the lot looks at, and what golf access actually comes with it. This page covers the golf side. For the full community overview, see my Robson Ranch homes for sale page.

The course in plain terms

Robson describes the Robson Ranch Arizona Golf Club as 18 holes of championship golf with elevated tees, rolling fairways, strategically located bunkers and carefully created natural areas. The published scorecard lists par 72 from every set of tees, with a range of tee lengths from the back tees to the forward tees, so the course can play long or short depending on where you start.

The golf club and pro shop share the campus with the Ranch House Grill, which Robson lists as serving brunch, lunch and dinner with a full bar. If you buy close to the clubhouse, expect more traffic and activity than on a quiet hole on the far side of the course.

Robson does not name a course designer on the pages I checked, so I leave that out here. If it matters to you, ask the golf shop.

Public play: ask the club

This is the part I always tell buyers to confirm directly. The club site has an online tee time booking page, and a GolfNow listing describes the course as semi-private, with membership and public play. Robson's own community and golf pages, though, do not state a public play policy, and Robson's pages have not always matched each other on this point. When sources disagree, the golf shop is the final word. Call the pro shop at the club before you assume how busy a given hole will be or who will be on it.

For residents, Robson's golf page says resident tee times are made by phone or in person rather than through the online system. The Robson Golf Link program lets residents play all seven Robson Resort Communities across Arizona and Texas at the low resident rate, with what Robson calls home course treatment. I do not quote golf fees here. The club publishes a current fee sheet, and I would rather you read that than an old number.

Before you buy for golf, confirm:

  • Whether the lot backs or sides to a fairway, green, tee box or only a partial glimpse
  • How resident booking works today and how it differs from outside tee times
  • What golf access, if any, comes with that specific home
  • Cart path distance, likely ball flight and maintenance timing on that hole

A golf course view from the patio is not the same thing as confirmed playing privileges.

Resale or new on the course

Robson is still selling new homes at Robson Ranch Arizona. Its community page lists build-to-order floor plans along with a set of move-in ready designer homes. That means a golf buyer here often compares two very different paths.

Resales show you exactly what you get: finished landscaping, patio covers, mature plantings and how the lot really meets the course after years of play. You can stand on the patio and watch a few groups come through before you decide.

New homes let you pick the plan and finishes, but the lot view is often something you judge from a site map and a walk of the dirt. Get the specs, the lot orientation and the included features in writing. Keep in mind that the sales team at a model home works for the builder. You can bring your own agent, and it is easiest to do that on your very first visit.

Whichever way you go, ask Terry for the floor plan on any home you like, so the model name matches the interior you walk through.

Location is part of the house decision

Robson Ranch Arizona is in Eloy, and Robson describes it as just south of Casa Grande. That puts it farther from the core of the Phoenix metro than most East Valley and West Valley 55+ communities. I treat that as a routine question rather than a ranking: where you shop, which doctors and hospital you already use, and how often you plan to drive north to see family or fly out. Map those trips before you fall for a fairway.

If you are comparing golf communities, my pages on Anthem at Merrill Ranch, Encanterra and Sun City Festival golf course homes cover other options. The Arizona 55+ living hub and the 55+ community finder are quick ways to narrow the list.

What to check before you buy

  1. Tour during active play and stand on the patio for at least ten minutes
  2. Confirm golf access and resident booking rules with the club, in writing if you can
  3. Inspect course-side glass, screens, stucco and roof edges for ball damage
  4. Ask the HOA where the lot line ends and golf course property begins
  5. Compare recent sales on the course with nearby interior lots in similar condition
  6. If you are looking at a new home, compare included features and the lot map in writing

One more question buyers ask is whether an assumable loan exists on a particular resale. Some do, and assumability is subject to lender approval. I check that home by home.

Questions buyers ask

What is the golf course at Robson Ranch Arizona?
It is the Robson Ranch Arizona Golf Club in Eloy. Robson describes it as 18 holes of championship golf with elevated tees, rolling fairways and strategically located bunkers, and its published scorecard shows par 72 from every tee.

Can the public play the Robson Ranch course?
The club's site has an online tee time booking page, and a GolfNow listing describes it as semi-private with membership and public play. Robson's own community and golf pages do not spell out a public play policy, so call the golf shop to confirm current rules before you count on it.

Does buying a golf course home include golf privileges?
Not automatically. A fairway view and the right to play are two separate questions. Robson's pages say residents book tee times by phone or in person and get the resident rate, but confirm current resident terms with the club for the specific home.

Are new homes still being sold at Robson Ranch Arizona?
Yes. As of my check, Robson's community page lists build-to-order floor plans and move-in ready homes. Resales are also listed through the MLS, so you can compare both on the same course.

Is Robson Ranch Arizona age-restricted?
Yes. Robson describes it as designed for 55+ active adults. The specific age and occupancy rules are in the community's CC&Rs, so read those or ask the HOA for the current text.
